CURRICULUM

Walker Academy offers a unique curriculum for students in the Greater Knoxville Area. The program of study is designed to prepare students for college, technical school, or the world of work. Students experience a thematic approach to instruction and an integrated curriculum, which culminates in a "Celebration of Learning".

Foundations I, Foundations II, Algebra I, Geometry, Algebra II, Pre-calculus, Calculus	Required for graduation: 3 units
Physical Science, Life Science, Biology, Environmental Science, Chemistry, Advanced Chemistry, Physics	Required for graduation: 3 units
World Geography, World History	Required for graduation: 1 unit
US History, Government, Economics	Required for graduation: 2 units
Wellness	Required for graduation: 1 unit
Fine Arts Art Advanced Art Music for Listeners Instruments Hand Bell Choir	Required for graduation: 1 unit
Computer	Required for graduation: 1 unit
